Pumpkin Protein French Toast

Fall mornings call for something cozy, nourishing, and just a little indulgent. This Pumpkin Protein French Toast is the perfect way to enjoy the flavors of the season while sneaking in a boost of protein. This recipe will leave you fueled, satisfied, and ready to take on your day.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread (sourdough, brioche, or your favorite)

  • ½ cup milk of choice (almond, oat, raw, or whole)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 scoop Taylor Dukes Wellness Pumpkin Protein

  • 1 tsp cinnamon (or more to taste)

  • Grass-fed butter, for cooking

  • Pure maple syrup, for serving

Instructions

  1. Make the batter: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, protein powder, and cinnamon until smooth and well combined.

  2. Prep your bread: Lay out your slices of bread. Dip each slice into the pumpkin-protein mixture, letting it soak for 5–10 seconds per side.

  3. Cook it up: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add a little grass-fed butter. Once melted, cook each slice of soaked bread for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and slightly crispy on the edges.

  4. Serve & enjoy: Stack your French toast high, drizzle with warm maple syrup, and sprinkle with extra cinnamon if you’d like.

Tips & Variations

  • Make it extra pumpkin-y: Add a tablespoon of real pumpkin purée into your batter.

  • Add crunch: Top with toasted pecans or pumpkin seeds.

  • Protein boost: Use a high-protein bread for even more staying power.

  • Dairy-free: Swap the butter for coconut oil or ghee.
