Tallow & Honey Body Wash - Almond Vanilla

I’m not a huge fan of this body wash. I bought it because I’m someone who tries to live a low-toxic lifestyle, and the Almond Vanilla scent intrigued me. Unfortunately, I’m a bit disappointed with the actual product.

First, the scent smells a bit artificial and too strong for my liking. I was hoping it would smell mostly like vanilla with a subtle almond note, but instead, it smells like I’m holding an Almond Danish right up to my nose.

Second, the formulation isn’t what I expected. I was hoping that the tallow, honey, and other oil ingredients would leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated, but it actually felt quite squeaky when I rinsed the soap away. I know some people enjoy that feeling, but I prefer when my skin feels cared for and nourished.

Finally, the price is a bit high in my opinion. There are other brands on the market that I feel deliver better formulas and cost less. I’m all for paying more for high-quality products, but this one didn’t seem high-quality to me.
