Captain Blankenship Cleanse Shampoo with Aloe & Seaweed

I've been using this shampoo for about six months now, and while it has some great qualities, it doesn't quite hit the mark for me. On the plus side, I absolutely love the scent—it’s fresh and pleasant. The shampoo also provides a light lather and leaves my hair feeling clean without being too harsh, while it sometimes takes a few tries. However, it struggles to remove all the oil from my hair, which is a bit of a problem since I wash my hair 1-2 times a week. My hair is thick, with thin to medium strands, and I find that the shampoo dries it out a bit, leaving it feeling a little more brittle than I’d like.

Overall, it’s decent but not something I’m completely in love with. I plan to try a different brand from this site next, hoping for something that better suits my hair needs.

I love this shampoo. I have thick wavyish hair and this definitely cleans my hair well and also softens it. I also enjoy the citrusy smell!

i have fine hair and this made my hair way too greasy that i was washing it way more often, and i didn’t like that at all. it was greasy after 1 day when i usually can go 3 days without washing. don’t agree with the description of it being good for all hair types.

Love the smell and that it’s non-toxic but it’s very heavy on my fine hair. I feel like this is better suited for someone with thicker hair.
